About Us

My name is Dan and I am a gardener located in Newton Abbot, Devon. I have previously managed the gardens on an estate near Okehampton, which had a vineyard, walled garden providing herbs and veg to the kitchen, glass growing houses and numerous lakes. I have worked for the National Trust at Killerton House in Exeter and Coleton Fishacre near Kingswear, Brixham as well. Working for the National Trust has given me great opportunities with excellent training to develop my knowledge and understanding of plants and all things gardening.

After parting ways with the National Trust, I decided to set up and work for myself. Not only do I specialise in lawn care and planting, I also offer services such as tree felling, hedge cutting, creating borders/ raised beds, woodland management/chipping, pressure washing and landscaping/ garden design. We can also focus on making your garden nature friendly as the garden is their home too! To find out more about these services go to our services page. In all these different areas, I strive to work efficiently and effectively, to bring your vision of your garden to life. I am an approachable and very friendly individual who would love to build a good working relationship with you, listening to your ideas as well as giving advice along the way. I can work individually or work alongside my fully capable assistant James, as four hands will always get more work done than two.

I hold a full chainsaw license, spraying tickets, Quad bike license and a bachelor's degree in Ecology so I am fully qualified for the job.

Please get in contact, as I would be happy to chat about what you would like to achieve with your garden.
